We will become Vito Scaletti who ends his military service and returns home in the winter of 1945 to the Empire Bay city, which is a mapped version of New York City. Moving across the town you will see many buildings that are typical of NY.Metropolis will consist of several districts – Industrial Milville, Oysterbay harbor, Chinatown, wealth district of Kingstone, Highbrook and others. Among them there is one particularly important for the TPP game called Little Italy. Vito together with his friend Joe Barbaro are trying to find themselves in the new reality. However, they do not intend to work in the docks for a poor money as cheap labor. They decide to join the local Mafia family.
Changing the period of time in which action of Mafia II is happening might be somewhat cruel and it difference style of the game. Second part of the TPS game will offer us a gameplay that is linear as in the original. Tasks are made into fifteen chapters, which includes subsections and the completion all of them take more or less 15 hours. Varied missions offer effective struggle with rival mafia families, car rides where we have to follow someone or escape the police. There are also challenges, where we have to stay in the dark. All the things were nicely implemented into one with very interesting main plot that is full of action, suspense and of course black humor.
